I give private and group lessons in my studio. I run the following annual activities that have become a popular tradition: The Halloween Dress-Up Recital, the Formal Spring Recital, and Holiday Group Lessons with peers. During their lessons my students practice informal performance, ear training and games and participate in cooperative learning activities.
Weekly lessons are essential to build skills and develop musically. Lessons continue over the Summer to ensure consistent progress.
Three times a year, a student's weekly lesson is swapped for a holiday group lesson. This includes informal performance, ear training, games and cooperative learning activities with peers.
Additional opportunities offered are: Involvement in the Monster concert in January, Student Evaluation Program and Competitions. The Annual Monster Concert is held at Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, New Jersey. The students perform duets onstage along with thirteen other pianos- 26 students in all, all playing simultaneously. The experience is like no other!
